Meeting Grandpa
Yay - after lots of 6am-ish starts from Ethan recently we "kind of" had a lie in from him! Ok so he woke just after 5am shouting out that his hot water bottle was cold (errr...yes it will be at that time of the morning Ethan)! But I got him another one and he went straight back to sleep with it till 7.50am. Ok so I only dozed again but was lovely not to have to get up!
Managed to catch up on a wee bit of housework before getting ready to take him to his weekly swimming class. About to leave only to discover my car had a flat tyre! So out came the pushchair (which he's getting too big for now) and I had to sprint down the road with him in it ... 25 minutes later and we just made it to the pool in time! By the time we'd done the lesson, popped over to the shops afterwards and walked back home I was exhausted! Fortunately Granny had arrived by then so Ethan played with her for a wee bit before we all went to West Calder station to pick up Grandpa. After waiting up on the bridge, Granny took Ethan on to the platform just as the train was pulling in. As soon as Ethan spotted Grandpa he went dashing up the platform to greet him!
Then a doctors appointment for me before going back to The Centre to get some keys cut for Granny and Grandpa.
Ethan was much more cheerful today despite not having a nap which means a more cheerful mummy too!
