Skipper on Milkweed

I believe I’m right in my ID of the butterfly - please feel free to correct me. The very hot, sunny dry weather continues, so it was a shortish walk at Pioneer Park, straight after breakfast. It may only have been a relatively short walk, but I still came back with quite a few photos - bees, butterfly, wildflowers, and scenes by the pond. I was tempted to do a collage, but instead decided to post one of my favourites and put another couple in as extras. We had planned on swimming this afternoon, but when Roger came to book a time slot, he found all the lap swimming was already booked. He decided to book an open swim slot for himself, but I decided I wouldn’t bother, and stayed home and did some jobs instead.
Well, I’d better finish there and go and do my Duolingo Italian - I don’t want to lose my 105 day streak!
