A Balancing Act

A little bit of normality returned to my life today when I sat inside Soderberg Pavilion nursing a coffee. Ok, so there was a through gale blowing to usher Covid viruses out the door and it was unusually quiet because no one knew it was open, but that’s good for me. It won’t stay like that for long.
All I need now is to resurrect my social calendar and life will adopt a rosier hue.

I’m trying not to be envious of my children going on holiday this weekend, especially #2 daughter en route to Orkney...... and no she didn’t invite me to accompany her and the family, but even if she had, I don’t feel it’s wise for me to journey to foreign parts just yet. It’s a balancing act between the overwhelming desire of getting away and putting myself at risk of catching Covid19 from other holiday makers.
