From A Distance

Looking back to Portobello from Musselburgh. Interesting to see that Easter Road is visible over the roof tops. Walked along to the mouth of the Esk and back for another slightly longer Saturday afternoon walk. On the way back, and almost home, bumped into our neighbours A and N, who were off to pick up their daughter L from friends. With the Lockdown it felt like a long time since we had met on the Prom like that, when before it was a regular occurrence. All packed and ready to go,  tomorrow they are moving down to Yorkshire, where they are both originally from. They have been lovely neighbours, just through the wall and the closest possible place to go for an evening of boardgames. We will miss them.
