A bit of blue (Day 1888)
I zoomed into town this morning to do a job which has been on the list for a while, fitting a "bidet seat" on a loo.
I have not encountered one before, and wasn't that keen to get involved. The installation instructions were fairly hopeless, and the plumbing fittings supplied with it were useless. With a bit of lateral thinking and head scratching, I got the thing fitted. Twiddling the control knob produced a misty spray of water, mostly directed into the bowl of the loo. Twiddling it the other way made a small probe type thing appear and discharge a jet of icy cold water straight into my eye. A life lesson was learned this morning - don't twiddle with bidet seat controls whilst kneeling in front of the loo. I suspect that the manufacturer hadn't expected people to be kneeling in front of the thing when it was in operation, however the instructions were fairly hopeless.
Another customer to visit in town, then a trip into the merchants to collect some bits.
Home for lunch and a wander with the woofers at Lyde as the day brightened up.
I am very glad to have my beautiful wife home for the evening.
