Good timing (Day 1889)
I made my way across to Stromness this morning to have a look at a problem with the water supply to a bathroom. The flow from the cold taps was very poor, but the rest of the house was unaffected. I eventually traced the problem to a faulty valve hidden under the bath, meaning a trip to town to get a replacement, then back to Stromness to fit it.
Next on the list of things to do, was replacing the lock on the door of the caravan my beautiful wife uses as a mobile tack room for all the horse stuff. I arrived just as HV and a couple of friends were returning from a ride out in fabulous weather.
Home for lunch, then out with the woofers at Lyde. The rest of the afternoon has been spent sorting out my scrap pile, which I will hopefully be able to get rid of soon.
