after hours...

...at the zoo. Tonight the zoo allowed a limited number of members to stay for an hour after the usual closing time. It was a real treat to see the animals finish out their day in peace and quiet. The main photo is one of our Amur Tigers taking time to groom himself. There are two more photos in extras. One is a macro of the resident Peacock's tail feathers neatly folded up on his back. And the other photo is of our three Ring-tailed Lemurs heading in for supper.
By the way, the car full of grandsons made it safely home yesterday!
