Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

July? You've got to be joking!

I was so cold that we had the gas fire on in the dining room tonight and guess who found the best seat in the house?
Fierce winds last night and heavy rain still continuing after I woke up. I went out into the garden in some trepidation this morning but all seems to have survived thankfully. The wind continued for most of the day with showers off and on too. I attended the Provincial service this morning from Perth online attendance most weeks is over 500.
This afternoon we went down to K and J's - time for my first hug since the 7th of March with Eilidh and Isobel. They were well up for it too! Lovely to be closer to them once again. I took K the first bunch of sweet peas along with some blackcurrant jelly.
The weather held and we sat out in their back garden, just time for coffee and a chat before the heavens opened once again.
I had a Cursillo meeting in Aberdeen this evening, nice to catch up with folks and to hear how things are going. People seem to be remarkably positive.
