Celebrating Freedom

Posting of yesterday's festivities, a day late. The public firework events were all canceled, so people put on their own here at the beach. Best show I've ever been to; sunset's aftermath coloring the sky peach, campfires dotting the  seven mile stretch of beach, the fireworks going off everywhere. Many of them illegal in Oregon, but not in nearby Washington, I might add.
WE got to bed at 2 AM. This morning I've done gone to beach twice already, to clean up the aftermath. Looks all good now.
In the main blip son-in-law is bursting with excitement at the wonder of it all, then there are some extras to try to convey the feeling.
