Doorstep Visitors...
I'd not been home long when Looby-Doo and Shelle happened along. M and D had just gotten back from Waitrose. I was freshening up after a rainy, frizzy day at school! It has rained all bloody day!
Lou was happy to see us, and desperately wanted to come in and play. I let her have the Mog and the VET book I'd ordered. Really I had ordered it to add to my school collection, but I also wanted to read it to Lou. She was really pleased and wanted to go home immediately to read it. Instead Shelle read it in the porch, and when she'd finished she said "read it again!"
She likes to pretend to be the 'baby tiger' and growl at me and I pretend to be terrified! Played that at the front door. It's so nice to see her, but I want to kiss and cuddle her, smell her hair and kiss her milky cheeks!
I didn't have college tonight which felt a bit strange. I could have taken a nap by 6pm but the sun came out, and I decided to walk Little B with mum. I had decided to walk with K, who met me at the gate as we finished, and then I walked around again with him. It was strange to see him after three months, but it was nice to catch up. Not sure how I feel.
So glad it's Friday tomorrow. My book came back from the typesetter for me to print out and read and check through. Need to find somewhere to print it though!
Best thing about the new way of schooling? That we now finish at 12:45pm every Friday. I think I'll campaign to keep that when we return to 'normal'!
