Chomp, chomp, chomp.

It’s that time of year again, when the sawfly larvae munch their way through the Solomon’s Seal( Polygonatum). plant at breakneck speed.

By next week there will be no leaves left.
So I just cut down the stems and put a large tub in the spot.

A very warm and muggy day.Good growing weather.
Wonder if we will get any thunderstorms.
Hope my washing dries first.

I usually like watching Royal Ascot at this time of year. Seems so strange without all the crowds and those great outfits. No fancy hats this year.
