Life through the lens...

Posh Pots.

You may notice this plant pot is stamped
“ Royal Botanic Gardens Kew” and also has the royal crown.
Not bad for £2.00 !
I know they are seconds, but look OK to me.
We bought 5 of them this morning from
Naylor Bros. Of Cawthorne, Barnsley.
A company which started in 1890 as a clay pipe manufacturer.
Now run by the 4th generation, and the largest U.K. manufacturer of terracotta garden pots. ( Amongst other things)
Yorkshire Flower Pots. You will see them in many garden centres and nurseries, including Harlow Carr.

Two are now planted with the tomato plants we were given last week.
The other three have been put on one side. Ready for planting bulbs for next spring.
( That is unless I see another plant I like this summer. )

On the way home we called to see some friends we haven’t seen since February. Although we have chatted on the phone every week, it was lovely to see them in person again, and enjoyed a coffee sat out in the sunshine. ( two meters apart of course!)

Another warm mainly sunny day. Up to 25C.
All washing dried.
Now going back into the garden to enjoy a glass of white wine.
( Mr C’s suggestion!)
