Coming down to Earth after our Norfolk holiday.
Washing and ironing, but also clearing out the spare bedroom ready for the decorator who is coming tomorrow. ( just had a text to say he will be here at 8.15am) Can’t wait for it to be finished so I can get straight once again.

Nice to see the family who called round with a card and present for MrC. Our DIL mentioned how lovely this orchid looked, and so decided it would be my blip today.

It was a present from friends for our Golden Wedding two years ago, and has been flowering none stop ever since.

It has been a day of sunshine and showers.
The garden is looking very green. Just need some sun now to bring the flowers out, and a bit more colour.

Looking forward to watching Gentleman Jack this evening.
We have friends who live near Shibden Hall,, and there House is hidden and quite out of the way. However, last week they had some Americans knocking on the door, asking if it was a B&B!
Apparently Gentleman Jack is very popular over there.
We told D she should offer afternoon teas on the lawn!
