Goosey, goosey gander.
We last visited the pond on the 26th May. Hadn’t realised it was so long since. Doesn’t time fly!
The goslings are goslings no more. They have grown enormous, and are now getting their adult feathers ( see extra)
Instead of a close up I preferred this shot of the pond with young family walking past in the distance. Gradually things getting back to normal.
Also put a photo of the flowers on as an extra.
I know I was very critical of the new planting, but it was looking lovely today. Would still have preferred natural wild flowers. They have however left a patch at the other side of the pond. Full of dog daisies at the moment.
It was dull when we set off but when the sun came out it was quite warm, and this afternoon reached 23C. Felt quite humid. Good growing weather. We were surprised how green the field was where the cows had been. With all the rain grass is growing fast.
Just what the farmers wanted.
It is a lovely balmy evening. Blackbird singing away. I think there may be a nice sunset.
Hope you have all had a good weekend .
Just wondering what will happen tomorrow when shops open again.
I will certainly not be venturing into Leeds for a long while yet.
