Busy buzzy bee.

A day of two halves.
Morning rain, and fog, but warmer.
I drove the car for the first time for 12 weeks.
We were longing for some fresh fish, so went to get some from Alan, who comes from Grimsby, to Lane End Farm Shop. However his van wasn’t there, so went to Pudsey Farm shop, and fortunately The Whitby fish van was outside. He said he had only missed for a few weeks in March when the boats weren’t going out.
So bought a large haddock fillet. ( Wanted cod but he didn’t have any. ) Have used 2/3 of it and the rest frozen to use in a fish pie later.

Then this afternoon the weather changed. The sun came out and temp. went up to 21C.
What a difference.
So after lunch it was out in the garden. Lots to do after all that rain. Mainly dead heading.
Three hours went very quickly.
Must go to the tip next week as we have such a lot of garden rubbish piled up.

Have enjoyed fish Provençal for tea with Jersey potatoes, and green beens, followed by strawberries and cream.
