Flowers

Although rain was forecast we have had a very warm, sunny day.  I went out into the garden after lunch to take some photos.  I was pleased to see that the hydrangea was coming into flower.

This morning Ann and I hosted the Sunday family quiz.  At least that way we didn't come bottom in the points table!

I spotted this bird's egg (see extras) as I was rooting around.  We have had a wood pigeon nesting in the quince tree and I think it must have fallen from there.  The egg is cracked open on its other side and is empty.
