Art Exhibition

This evening Hubby and I went to an Art Exhibition opening of a friend, Willi Koller. I have seen many of his paintings at his house but they looked amazing displayed properly in a gallery. The gallery assistant was busy setting up the video to film the opening and said she had no one to take photos with her camera. I had taken some photos of her and her lovely dog last week, which she loved, and promptly handed me her camera and asked if I minded taking some photos. I was a bit nervous as I haven't used a Canon before and I didn't know how to view the photos I had taken to check how I was doing. I hope she will have something she can use. I have added some extras of the gallery taken with my camera.
The weather was beautiful today, just right for sitting on the terrace playing Canasta for the first time since lockdown. I cooked some Aussie fare - meat pies and chicken, leek and mushroom pies. i was only going to do one sort but our group of 3 increased to 4 when our friend from Germany arrived yesterday after the borders were opened, then a girlfriend said she was free after all then texted me later to ask if she could bring her Hubby who had a day off work. Another friend said she could come after her work so, with Hubby, that made 8 for lunch. The day was a great success and so enjoyable to see friends again and cook for them.
