Lovage

I mainly took this photo for my friend who lives in southern Austria. She has given me a few cuttings and plants and they always grow magnificently. The herb in the photo is Lovage, called Maggikraut here as it smells and taste like the Maggi seasoning you can get in a bottle. I have cut it down by half as it has grown rampant and was obscuring the other plants. This is the first time it has flowered and a flower spike is above the new fence. I put Hubby there for reference. I will have to grow it in a big pot next year.
