We had a delivery of bird food today and with it was a new and rather smart Niger Seed Feeder - for the Goldfinches, who seem to have congregated in our garden. Bird food costs us a fortune, but it is worth it for the joy we get from watching the birds. 

Miserable weather - showery, cold and so windy.
