. . . and windsurfers. A few more people than yesterday, but not crowded, even on a sunny Saturday in summer. Because . . .
. . . pebbles.
Anyone who knows this area knows that a lot of the beaches are shingle, not sand. And pebbles are not good for sitting on or lying on and pebblecastles just don't work. So, not good for families, but good for us as it means Hythe stays quiet all the time and it is mainly local people wandering about . . . and windsurfers.
