Spitting Feathers!!!

This morning we dropped by the Bannockburn Memorial for a stroll with Chloe and were appalled and dismayed to find that the great equestrian statue of Robert the Bruce had been vandalised. 
I very much doubt if King Robert ever met any person of colour and anyway we cannot judge any historical character by our modern standards. We must not try to re-write history but must learn from it and move on. 
I hope they catch the idiots who did this.
On a lighter note, we also walked the canal bank for a short distance and spotted the subject of today’s extra on the far bank. We have never seen a Muscovy Duck along there before .
It’s not the bonniest of creatures, is it!
