What a day!

We started early this morning. Two little blue tit chicks fledged yesterday evening and (as far as we know) a further five this morning for a total of at least seven. We spent the first part of the morning on guard duty warding off thieving magpies and even an overly nosey starling!
Later, after our weekly “click & collect “ we had visitors in the shape of J & A for a little while. Seeing the two of then trying to copy the guardsmen marching during the Trooping of the Colours was priceless - see MaggieD’s blip.
Late afternoon saw us welcome Ali, Phil, E & E for an Italian carry out tea and further garden fun with Chloe. The photos show one rather grumpy chick, another one getting fed on next door’s (artificial) grass, E playing micro-mini golf and E wrestling with Chloe over the football.
