Baby Coo

Had to take Simba back to the vet today to get him checked over. His temperature has returned to normal, but he's not eating or drinking yet, so he's being kept in the clinic over the weekend. Blood tests have revealed no abnormalities, so he'll be given more antibiotics and an injection to increase his appetite. Poor Simba!

We went out for a drive to take our minds off him and ended up at the RSPB site at Loch Kinnordy in Angus. It was so frozen up that the birds were having to use just a tiny area to swim and feed in. They were too far away to get decent pictures, so we drove on and I spotted a small group of Highland cows nearby. This young one looked very sweet and his mum was close by keeping an eye on him - and us:)
