Statue!

A quiet day today. Some mundane but much needed cleaning in the morning. Also a reorganising of the clean freezers, now I know where everything is....well today anyway!
A walk with Reg, which he wasn't that keen on and stood like this photo for some minutes waiting for another dog walker to pass by. Then decided he'd had enough and turned in the direction of home.
At home the sun had finally come out for a while so we went into the garden where Reg had a mooch about, finally settling on the patio, well just a large concreted area outside the sitting room door, loosely named a patio! Our garden slopes down quite a lot so from this  vantage point he can listen to and watch the sheep, lambs and cattle in the surrounding fields on the hill the other side. A favourite pastime for him.
I started to clear some rubble and mark out a new area for another no-dig bed next to the shed, quite a sheltered spot for plants.
Barry is finally working on the stable door so that we can at last use it properly for access to the garden from the kitchen. It has been in need of repair since we moved in but not been a priority. Following the prolonged sunny weather recently enjoyed, when it was constantly in use, the bottom half has  needed to be propped closed! Hopefully it will be in full working order when the next bout of good weather arrives, this week?
