Kitchen day!

A mixture of chilly winds, rain and a sprinkling of sunshine made the kitchen more attractive than the garden today!
I did a bit of experimenting. I used some of the attachments for my Kitchenaid stand mixer...success. I made crackers for lunch...success. I made a new recipe for dinner...success!!! The dinner took some time for preparation but was worth the effort (extra photo)
Barry was also working in the kitchen, some electrical and pipe work but luckily it's large enough to accommodate us both without us getting in each other's way.
Barry took a very reluctant  Reg out for a walk about 4pm and I cleaned out the freezers. It's so easy to forget what you have stored in them when they are full!
Also had a quick call to mum to make sure she was still smiling. She had ventured her first trip out on her mobility scooter to the local shop and was feeling very pleased with herself. She had also had a social distancing cuppa in the communal gardens with my brother and an hour's  chat with another resident. A good day for her.
I felt my day had not been too bad either.
