N-ice day.....

.....for a white wedding.


I would love to be sharing photos from Las Vegas, on what should be our wedding day, but an unexpected guest scuppered those plans....thanks Rona!
Given the current outrage about George Floyd’s death, I’m actually grateful to not be in the USA right now. My Mum always says ‘everything happens for a reason’. All things considered, and as heartbreaking as it is, the decision to postpone our wedding until next year seems to have been a sensible one.

So today, instead of Graceland Wedding Chapel, we had Whitby harbour. Our 5* wedding breakfast was replaced with fish and chips (sadly the Magpie Cafe was closed) and instead of clinking champagne glasses, we bumped ice creams!

In the grand scheme of things, so long as we are together and happy, nothing else matters. We still have an amazing wedding & honeymoon to look forward to next year; with the added bonus it’s already paid for.

What’s another year when we have a lifetime of love ahead of us?
