Happy Cake Day!

Hello Blip World.....I’m back!!!!

For those of you who don’t know (or remember) me, I’m Janet & I started my original blip journey on my 40th birthday. That was 8 years ago today! Gosh, time flies when you’re having fun.
I did 1600 consecutive blips, before deciding to take a break. I always knew I’d be back someday.

I’ve decided to start again to document the next year (or so) as it will hopefully prove to be an interesting one.
Like most people, the coronavirus has affected my life this year; fortunately not with illness, but with the knock on effects of lockdown.
Work (dentistry) has been cancelled since mid March (though I am hoping to be back in the next couple of weeks).
Tomorrow should have been our wedding day; that has also been postponed until the same date next year (more about that tomorrow).

I’d love it if you would like and follow my journal, I’m looking forward to connect with friends old & new and seeing what this next year will bring.

This time last year, we were in Cape Town and I was served cake for breakfast. Mr A has decided to stick with this ‘tradition’ there are worse things I guess so this is today’s blip offering. It was yummy btw!!
