A walk from Bowes

We drove via the now notorious Barnard Castle, without stopping at Bluebell Woods or Specsavers, to meet Sheila and Mike for a socially distant walk of over 8 miles.

It was so nice to see them in person after 3 months of FaceTime. The walk was delightful, along a river which was very low and across a buttercup meadow. Although not far from A68 with its hum of traffic, the walk took us up to remote moorland.
