Nearly done

Now halfway through our 12th week of social distancing.

A busy morning making a cake for Mr C plus another for our good fairy helpers. Then chatting to Dennis who is doing very well after his quadruple bypass just before lockdown. After that it was a sad talk with an old un8 friend whose sister had recently died. She had motor neurone disease , a very cruel illness, and sadly Liz was not able to see her, though her husband and children were thankfully allowed into the hospital in Scotland.

As it rained on and off today and is really chilly outside I got cracking on the Shetland wool kep. It’ll look better once it has been pressed!

So proud of all those around the world protesting against racism and police violence.

And very frustrated by our so-called leader here - apparently he’s having a global conference to improve health in developing countries with Bill Gates attending. He worries COVID will spread back from them to us because they have poor health care. Is BJ thinking a vaccine for malaria will be the answer to COVID? Grrr.
