Sally Mair - Loving life

Dwarf iris

I came across these in one of my garden pots today. I've no idea where they came from, no recollection of buying them or of seeing them before, however clearly this is not their first year. there are over a dozen of these heads. I presume they are a variety of Iris Reticulata from their size and shape, but they are much later. I'll need to examine the pot in the autumn, but they are a lovely surprise and a most unusual colour.
A beautiful day today with wall to wall sunshine. I went to Hopetoun farm shop again this morning, fully masked and hand sanitised. A arrived just before lunch and repotted all her succulent plants which I have been carefully killing off for her. Ungrateful child! Now I'll have to start all over again lol. We enjoyed our time with her in the garden, so nice to chat.
This afternoon I did some baking and had my Cursillo reunion group.
We had dinner in the garden for the fifth evening in a row. Zoom bridge this evening and another day gone.
Thank you for dropping by my journal. Keep safe and well everybody, don't forget your mask and sunscreen, tomorrow is set to be nice too.
