Potato fields

I had a longer walk today and noticed that the potatoes are growing well.  No doubt a bit of rain would help although after the heavy spring rains, I imagine their is moisture below the surface. I joined our Zoom French conversation group in the afternoon but two of our number still have not resolved their audio difficulties so could only listen.  I note that the French have further relaxed their lockdown measures and it looks like their borders with the EU will open on June 15th. Perhaps I will consider travelling across at the end of the month after the review on June 21st which will reveal if their measures are on track.
