walking home

Luke never planned to be here for the summer but I must say I'm enjoying his company. One of the nicest parts is our daily evening walk with Jess down to the river. I took lots of photos tonight - mostly of Jess swimming (she loves it now!) and of Luke with some curious young bullocks. However, here's my favourite one, spontaneous and wobbly, walking home as the sun lowers in the south west.

Other good things - I have been encouraged to make sourdough (flour arrived today!) to record my exercise on Strava and to listen to more music. Today I was listening mostly to Kris Drever. I didn't know that he was part of the "Lost Songs" project and if you've never heard the beautiful "Blessing" before, HERE it is.
