Another day , another baby......

Friday again, not that it makes any difference. Gathered up the team and bolused the 50 cows in the shed and kept in the ones needing a pedicure . Ran the 22 that were left along to a field with their calves.
After lunch bolused the 15 heifers that are going down the road tomorrow ( if the weather isn’t to wild)
Blowing a hoolie tonight and the power went off for a while- seemingly there is a tree down somewhere and hit a transformer pole. The joys.
530 calved, but she is 15 years old, so brought her in to check her teats. Surprisingly she is firing on all 4 cylinders, a novelty for here ! Still not sure if the calf has had a right good suck so stuck them in a pen in the shed to keep an eye on them for now.
