Living the high life....

On a Saturday night !
Wet and windy today. More like a day to be bringing cattle in than putting them out.
Once everything was fed, grabbed my co-pilot/ gate opener and spent the morning hauling yesterday’s heifers to a field down the road. There were too many to fit in 2 loads so had to make it 3. But this meant they weren’t tight so could rumble about a bit. Add the howling gale and it made for an interesting few drives, more like sailing a ship at times..
Braved a trip to Tesco tonight for the first time in 2 months . Didn’t have to queue, and once I’d figured out all the arrows on the floor it wasn’t too bad. Everyone was keeping their 2m distance except for the reduced aisle where it was the usual scrum. Normally I would have been barging in like the best of them, but not tonight. Shows you how serious things are when I pass up a bargain !
Back home , everything fed ,then treated my self to a beer and a sticky bun . Who says lock down is boring !
