Big Sky

I can't say I'm comfortable using a super wide. But I thought the sky looked interesting and decided to follow the usual formula - get down close and make the foreground big in the frame. First off, actually viewing the image that low down is a challenge. Secondly, shooting into the sun makes it hard to see the lcd and judge composition or exposure.

I tried taking two shots to cover the dynamic range, but wasn't happy with the blend. After a lot of attempts I settled on this one as my best effort.
