White-breasted Nuthatch

Happy Friday to you! The change in outdoor temperature is very noticeable today. The sun is out but it’s deceivingly cold and windy. Some have forecasted 1-3” of snow after midnight into tomorrow morning (yes, you read that correctly) and others predict all rain. Since there’s nothing that can be done about it, I’m going to grin and bear it. It won’t last and it’s likely Mother Nature’s last hurrah (I think I said that before the last storm too, lol). Hopefully our perennials coming up won’t mind, and the newly planted lettuce survives. Oh, and we visited the pond today, and we did not see any ducks. How sad is that?
