Busy going nowhere

A long time ago BC I errr... committed a speeding offence on Old Street.  I had to take a 'Microsoft Teams' speed awareness test today.

"There must be 100 years of driving experience here", the instructor said. When I tell you I have clocked up 44 years on my own and there were 8 of us it gives you some idea of the age spread.

Fortunately the Highway Code hadn't changed that much over the years. What did shock me was the 8 second difference between braking from 30 and from 31 miles per hour. You can cover a lot of ground in 8 seconds!

I feel suitably chastised.

I'm not driving anywhere for a while though.
