Becoming twitchers
I say this as a good thing. It has been lovely to see J get so interested in the changes to the season week by week of lockdown. We have watched the Canada Goose and he was excited everyday to see if the goslings had hatched or if she was still sitting patiently. We know that Mallards bob their heads down and poke their bums up to dabble, whereas Greater Crested Grebes and Tufted Ducks go right under.
J can also spot a heron at some distance. This one was on the other side of Bottoms Reservoir to us. I am starting to wonder about new lenses - who said there was nothing to spend money in lockdown.
Had a nice time doing three person skipping with B and the trellis acting as the third person. She thought my rhymes were hilarious - the things that stick in my head. I thought how hard it was and wondered how I ever spent a full break playing it in primary school.
