Sunday, run day II

Had another lovely sunday run up to the top of the forest. These two were so tame, giving me a hard stare as I chatted to them.

I was quite upset by the number of mountain bike trails that have appeared crossing the track that goes from Dimples Farm, past the sweetie tree and pops out on Charity Lane. They are ugly, the mountain bikers disturb the wildlife, they are going hell for leather crossing a footpath and they are much more likely than a walker to have to call out Mountain Rescue if they come off. I had a row with one of them, who dismissed me. I am sure that they have been using the trails for years, but never in such numbers, I think that they think the forest is quiet and never during the main day.

I planted some seeds in the veg patch. We will have to see if the ants get them.
