Beautiful eggs

These are the eggs I got from the bungalow up the lane. I love the colour and the fact that they arrange them in matching order, and cost 5p less than next door.

B was very tired and grumpy after a late night last night. J was fine. G and J went for a walk. The goose on Bottom's Resevoir has hatched her eggs. They saw two of the goslings, but as she was still on the nest we think there are still more to come.

I walked up there later and they had gone back underneath to keep warm. I went up as far as the heronry at TrentaBank, I couldn't make out any nests but did spot a heron on the bank.

It was really busy out there. Lots of vans parked by Ridgegate, which I assume is mountain bikers who would normally go to north wales or the lake district pre-made trails.

I challenged (aka bribed) the children to try and be nice to each other. The bickering was less which helped, though B was pretty grotty with Guy and I.
