Quiz Night Day

.... and shopping day. First though was emulsioning the walls in the front room which was left to husband as I reported some lettuce plants that had grown from seed.

M and S wasn’t busy and neither was South Street (here). You can see right up to the top of the Glasgow Road and the Resy from here. I can’t get used to the town being so quiet especially when the sun shines as the Cafe quarter should be buzzing with people.

Mum’s shopping and clean washing dropped off and a chat with her. She told us she thinks she needs to give in and use the zimmer for her daily walks round the block (about bloody time)!

more gardening later this afternoon and then the highlight of the week for great laughter is the quiz night.

First weekend in May - traditionally when we are looking forward to going on holiday. Not this year...
