Pride of place
The ultimate bike storage?
This can be found high on the wall above our staircase - and yes, we can walk underneath without scraping our heads!
It is Mr A's father's 1950s racing bike that he's restored. It's had a full professional respray in near-original colours, then Mr A has done all the work to rebuild it, ready for retro-racing.
The "clap for carers" tonight was impressive and I've never seen so many neighbours out in our road. We always know when it's 8 o'clock as the lady next door starts banging her small saucepan with a wooden spoon and I could see Harry right at the top of the road clattering with his pan too. The chap opposite has suggested hooting his car horn next week (like something out of a scene from the original Italian job in the streets of Turin) and Mr A has threatened to rev his XJR1300 on the driveway...but I'm not sure how well that might go down!
Oh, and I did another yoga session today too - normally I only do them on Monday.
Thought for the day:
