Unexpected Participation

A month or two ago at an RBL meeting a guest was looking for information regarding the Royal Navy, it’s routines and operating procedures during WWII for help in the making of an animated film by students at Falmouth University.
Although long before my time in the service it’s routines and traditions remain largely unchanged and I was happy to help.
As the amount of information required has grown so my involvement has grown and I find myself enjoying the memory searching and passing on my love for my service.

Lovely clear sky today although that is going to change in the coming days.
