Sam has dyed her hair, like everything she does she threw herself wholeheartedly into it so it’s not a uniform colour, so she tells us, but that adds to the attraction.
It’s a good thing that Sam enjoys her own company as she is now approaching the five week mark in isolation and for Sam it really is isolation.
Her campus is in an area where social distancing is barely paid lip service to and finds her weekly shopping expeditions something of an ordeal. She has commandeered her own unbranded supermarket trolley, ‘Trevor’ as it is now known.
Mobile telephone conversations, e-mails and her own Blipfoto account have ensured that we have kept in touch but I look forward to collecting her and putting my arm round her.
