Bullfinch

I spotted this bird simply from the row it was making, obviously calling for a mate! I think it must be a bullfinch. I joined the short Zoom church service with friends from our french village followed by a bit of a social catch up. I walked a new circuit today and was hailed from a garden and realised it was someone who used to come up our bell tower.  There followed a conversation from a safe distance exchanging the news of the past couple of years.
