WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Not Much to Report

This little flower bed has come on leaps and bounds with all this warm sunshine. I planted it all out last spring with all my favourites, pink and white Saxifrage, purple Aubretia,
Forget-me-Nots, peachy coloured Geum, Violas,
Lupins (at the back, still to flower), Astrantia (still to flower- in front of Geum), Aquilegia (still to flower). This spring I added two lovely bush Roses, I can't wait for them to bloom. Do you know that banana skins are good for roses? We always dig them into the soil round about. They are also good for tomatoes, full of nutrients in particular potassium.
There are also some alpines dotted between but I can't remember the names.

I didn't really do a lot today, spent some time pottering about, and chatting to the neighbours from our gardens. Frank was at the boat painting the top.

Now watching some recorded Father Ted's :-D))) I struggle to watch anything longer than half an hour these days.

Goodnight ;-)
