Jonathan, our dog walker has mild symptoms, he said it could be hayfever but he is sensibly erring on the side of caution. He was still been walking Pickle for us as I find it difficult managing Pickle and both girls on a walk and to maintain Pickle's twp walks a day. He hasnt come inside the house since before lockdown and he uses the side door and a different lead and we use the front door, so I hope no risk if he does have it and I also really hope he is OK. He has been walking Pickle for about 7 years and is a lovely person.
So because of that I did brave taking Pickle out for a very short walk with the girls. It was actually lovely and every behaved. My worry is always Bea running off as she often does or Pickle being reactive to another dog, which he occassionally does, but all was fine and its so quiet out there at the moment I guess the risk is minimal.
We played and glued coloured paper tissue on cardboard masks (my hobbycraft order arrived - phew!). I use up the last of my cornflour making gloop for them to play with and they also played with slime that Bea got for her birthday.
In the evening I worked to catch up and also did some work preparing to make the furlough claim for preschool. It is a little more complicated than most because we are partly government funded so I wanted to check (and double check) I was doing it right!
