Exercise outing

Today we visited the old runway for our daily exercise outing. It is just a few minute drive away which I thought was justifiable. It is walking distance for me, but a bit far for the girls. It was windy but lovely and sunny. We saw perhaps 5 or 6 other families or couples, but its such a large space we were all far apart.

We are very lucky to have access to this space and it is valued by dog walkers and families for bikes and scooter practice. There was an application by the airport recently to remove the common land status recently. I hope it isn't approved as that would open it up to the risk of future development.
