Today's the day ……………………… to see the sea

This is a view from the other side of the bay, looking directly due south past Little Ross Island to the Solway Firth and beyond. 

It was a necessary trip today - to satisfy a need to see the sea and feel the wind on my face.  For some reason, the dire statistics of the Covid-19 outbreak in the UK, got to me today and filled me with despair.  Not that I personally have any reason to be anything other than grateful - it must be a million times worse for so many others.

Thankfully, it took very little to persuade Will to come along too - and this is the view that we were blessed with - all to ourselves …………………….
