Garden Day

Katie spent much of the day in the garden. Our neighbours came by and asked if Katie would like a fitness trampoline they were getting rid of (she did) and shortly after, returned with it. They then came back with two tennis racquets and balls. Katie cleaned her trampoline. The postman brought a book I had ordered for her, which she lay and read in the sunshine. Odie has spent the day keeping very close watch of Katie. She came and sat near her during this reading and, later, when Katie had taken a different book out I found odie stretched out next to her, snuggled right up to Katie.

Katie had a reaudition for her music this afternoon which had been hanging over her for the last few days, so we were very pleased to get it out the way. But straight after we needed to go for our exercise time. When we got back we had our first effort at making home made hummus- with more success than the baked potato I had managed to explode in the oven earlier in the day!
